Again with the chronic laryngitis! I get a little sniffly, the stuff drains and irritates my throat, and then I sound like an ogre for a couple of days! There's a possibility that the salt dust from dreading two heads this week may have aggravated things, or maybe it was the dust from sawing some Pullip eyes for customizing. Anyway, I sound funny and my throat hurts.
Tomorrow morning I am doing a workshop for a bunch of ladies in Sparta that might turn into a class. It would mean four classes a week for me, maybe I'd drop this roundness in my middle too. Plus, the money will be nice to put toward my Medusa tattoo. It looks like I'll need to start getting some ideas together for a sleeve dedicated to mom too! Right now I think it will be Minerva on my upper arm, an owl and olive branches on my forearm, and maybe some books and sewing symbolism underneath.

Date: 2008-03-19 05:02 pm (UTC)I wish I had the money for/ no weird (read: religious and long term) reservations about getting tats! I would LOVE to have a tree of life on my back and lotuses around my belly... and a mermaid somewhere... oh yeah! (But I have this weird symetry thing, so I'd have to do both sides if I did arms/ legs).

The pain factor is a big one for me (which makes me laugh, considering I had Remy at home!) AND the cheap factor is also huge: tats are EXPENSIVE!
And, there's the "will I really want this on my body for the rest of my life" factor. Which, since I am capricious as all get out, is a big factor.

I am also a chaneable soul, I knew I'd always love mermais though, and I got my first tattoo, a mermaid on my calf, when I was about 28, after I left my first husband. I didn't get one after that, because I wasn't ready, and I hadn't found the right artist. Now I have, so I'm unstoppable, LOL.
