Here is my Spark food and exercise log. I wonder if I should just post this everyday instead of typing it up here?

Anyway, if you click that you should be able to see what I've done each day, as well as what I've eaten and my weight loss progress.
I'm doing well, and still excited about this program. I think the computer entry part makes it a lot of fun. :-)
I reweighed myself and now it's somewhere between 4 and 6 pounds lost. That's crazy, man!

Date: 2007-08-06 03:08 pm (UTC)I noticed, for example, that your carb intake each day is two to three times as much as your protein, and your protein intake is regularly under 100 grams. To maintain muscle while losing fat, it's recommended that you consume approximately one gram of protein for each pound of lean body mass. Or, just to be safe, approximately one gram of protein for each pound of bodyweight. This will probably also make you feel more satiated and keep your blood sugar more stable, making it much easier to actually stick to the diet for a longer time.
