From the smallest to the largest! All of my animals are rescues of some sort, except for Aries, who was born here, but his mom, Athena, was bought from a PMU sale. (Mares kept pregnant in order to harvest urine for menopause supplements.)
This is Izzy, sunning herself on my husband. She is a bearded dragon adopted through
gypsy_raihana, her owner couldn't keep her anymore.

Fulmina, who was found in
mezzanotterose's garbage pile with two broken legs! (She's the fastest cat in the house now!)

Firefly, another rescue from
mezzanotterose's house who turned out to be a diabetic. She gets a shot every morning. She even reminds me to give it to her.

Binx, the loverman. He was rescued to honor the memory of one of our very special cats that we lost to feline leukemia.

Prince, neurotic rescued schnoodle. He is very hyperactive, but a sweet and cuddly dog if ever there was one.

Bit, or affectionately, pirhana-face. I rescued her from a man who ended up with her when his mom passed away, and he was completely neglecting and mistreating her. Right before I adopted her, a police officer had found her dangling from a rope over the bed of a pickup. She was covered with fleas and ticks, and she was so filthy that we thought she was a grey dog until we washed her.

Aries. Our horses are big lawn munching dogs, when you come right down to it. I adopted Athena, Aries' mom, because I wanted to get into equestrian games in the medieval recreation group we are a part of. Then I fell off of her, ripped my knee cartilage quite badly, and realized that getting older means that when you fall to the ground, it isn't as easy to recover as it used to be! Anyway, Athena was bred to a beautiful Fresian stallion and we have Aries, who is so in love with my husband that he follows him everywhere.

Athena, affectionately called Mooselips or Mudpuppy.
