Exercise Post.

15 minutes lower body focus Yourself Fitness
10 minutes Temple of Jehan Workout, Sensuality--I don't use this one much because it is not really a workout as it is a routine, but I figure if I do one several times I will know what's coming and it won't be so hard to follow. The only annoying thing is the voiceover that says stuff like, 'feel the pulsing energy of the cosmos', but it's pretty cute other than that. The dancer that leads that section, Blanca, is gorgeous, and has the most beautiful, long black curly hair, it makes me very jealous and yet awestruck at the same time. There is also a lot of hair flipping in that section, she looks so pretty doing it--I think I have a crush on her!

Anyway, I also plan to run through Huntress a couple of times and see if I can make it work a little better. I think this is the first Saturday I've done any exercise at all though, so go me!
Last night about halfway through troupe practice everyone seemed a bit droopy and usually I get pushy and make them get moving, but I figured I'd use my new techniques for anger control and just tried to relax. I did a few situps and that helped, and I reminded myself that everyone is a little crazy and weirded out right now. Seemed to work well, even when one of my regular students got kinda snappy with me because she was frustrated. I was in a very calm place and I just tried to gently soothe her and explain that her tense energy was making her work twice as hard to accomplish the move. We stopped and did a spine stretch and she was fine after that. I want to be like this all the time, but when my knees are in a bad way or I'm hormoned out, it's like keeping a bull on a thumbtack. I truly believe that I can do anything if I want to badly enough, though.
