The closest we will likely come to the how about 25"X12" in a standard size is the 24"L x 12"W x 16"H (It's a 20 gallon 'high' tank) I told you about. Cai's old tank is the same size as the one I gave you, that's why I mentioned that, they are 29 gallon tanks.
Standard tank sizes go from 20"X10" (10 gallon & 16g H) 24"X12" (15g and 20g H) 30"X12" (20L, 29g and 40g XH, the latter being somewhat rare but I have seen it availale once on the local commercial market)
Since you are looking at housing hermit crabs you could also just have glass cut in the dimensions you want (or plexi for a lighter but easier to scratch tank) and silicone (if glass) or glue (if plexi) it together. You wouldn't even need the plastic rim to reinforce it since it won't have the constant water pressure pushing out. I could help if you wanted.
You could also check out the glass cages people since they are quasi-local (about an hour west of Nashville) and build custom tanks. http://glasscages.com/?sAction=Home From the reviews I have seen I wouldn't trust any of the aquatic tanks but for a hermie tank or critter tank they should be fine. Fair warning though they supposedly have the customer service skills of bull dogs.
If you decide you want the 20g high I have let me know. Right now it hasn't been spoken for and you can have the handmade lid that was on Cai's tank that fits it as well.
