You may want to think about BC pills of some kind. When I was in high school, I was missing at least two days a month, every month. The cramps were getting progressively worse, until one day in the summer, I vomited, seized, blacked out, and woke up on the floor covered in my own vomit. Mom took one look at me and said, "Birth control for you." If I take my pills properly *ie, every single night at about the same time* my periods are shorter, with lighter flow, and VERY managable pain. If I screw up taking the pills *ie, a pill one day, miss two days, take a pill, miss two days* my ass'll end up in the hospital.
If you are not certain if you want to take pills of any kind, you may want to think about an IUD. The IUD eventually lessens blood flow. Less blood flow, less cramps.
Talk to your doctor about what birth control options would be best for you. You don't need to suffer.
*hugs in complete understanding/sympathy. Offers chocolate, or maybe something dead and tasty*
