Hippie Craft swap?
Would anyone here be interested in a small craft swap? You can trade with anyone you like who responds, just do the address exchange through email.
So if you want to get in on a trade, just leave a message here, with:
1. What types of things you make.
2. What types of things you like.
3. Favorite/hated colors, special requests ( i.e., vegan, nothing pink)
All trades must be sent off within one month from the trade date agreement. This way there's a deadline, otherwise there can be lots of procrastination!
All trades must be worth 10 dollars or less. I think the smart thing is to keep it small. After you've traded successfully with someone, go on and up the trade value!
You can do more than one trade at once, just be sure not to take on more than you can handle, it really hurts to be on the receiving end of nothing, I've had it happen to me before.

Hmm not this payday but next I will have a few dollars for art supplies and I can think of what I can make that folks may be interested in. Maybe I should experiment with watercolors since that would be an infinitly cheaper product to barter rather than the costs for a full canvas oil :)
Thanks for the idea! I will certainly think on it!
If I turn out a good Neptune or mermaid I will let you know (that would be rather cool in watercolors) and maybe I can beg off either a belt or hairfall *grin* that sort of stuff is obviously right up my alley ;)

scented body/bath oil with a half-coconut oil base (usually I use plastic bottles, though...)
salves/unguents
special incenses
2. What types of things you like.
I'd like to try out the cloth menstrual pads, I think... and I can always use chains to hang work IDs and keys around my neck, or tarot card pouches, or bags of various kinds.

I like vivid colors and also earth tones - bright teal and brown are favorites.
I like flowers, oak trees, cats...
